First, let me clear up the name of the restaurant: Jia Kitchen and Tan Tan Wok are actually the same place. At first, I thought they were separate spots, but once I went inside, I realized they share the same menu and operate as one restaurant.
Their menu is huge, and judging by how busy they were, they seem pretty popular. I ordered the Vietnamese rice dish, and it was delicious, the meat was flavorful and the egg was cooked perfectly.
The sweet and sour chicken, however, was a miss for me. The batter was way too thick compared to the amount of chicken inside.
There are still a lot of dishes on the menu I want to try, but I’m also worried that not everything will be good. I’ll update once I go back and try more.
